"We have two pieces of art created by Ian, the first a lovely surprise wedding present titled ‘The Happy Couple’ in the vein of his caricature pieces. We were so pleased with this; the time that he must have spent on this was very evident.   The individual detail that he put into the caricatures of both us and the guests around us was very impressive and delightful.   This is a treasured reminder of our wedding day.  

The second piece is a commissioned piece of work which is glass paint on foil with a web fractured glass effect.  Ian more than fulfilled our requirements for this piece which was to reflect our desire for the focal point to be our home and for key points of significance to be highlighted.  This piece  was to be for a particular wall and room in our home and Ian managed to capture the colours and theme of the room brilliantly with a keen sense of artistic flare and professionalism.  This piece of art is now a focal point within our home and we are very proud of it and enjoy showing it to visitors to our home. "

"Around the time of my granddaughter's birthday, I decided it would be great to have Ian create a night sky with her birth sign.  He was very thorough in his research and asked for details to choose from, making it even more personal.  For instance, what her favorite color is (for the sky), whether the background be rural, city, etc.  Needless to say, I was more than pleased when it arrived!  The painstaking detail given to each star in the constellation and how it would look at that particular time of the year was very impressive.  Every object chosen for the type of scenery I asked for, you could tell was individually placed, then beautifully matted and framed. 
As it turned out,  my daughter's birthday was coming up shortly after,  so I again wrote to Ian and requested another one for her!  It was very short notice, and I felt bad about asking with so little time to make it and get it here, but he showed what a true artist he is AND you would never know he was rushed.  It was even better than the first one, and I look forward to showing off many more of Ian's artistic endeavors in the future."
